ZEMRIA

Song of Melody

LINEAGE AND NAME

Zemria is a name shaped by family, lineage, and meaning. It honors the heritage of Maier and Schulz while carrying forward the memory of Shelbie—bringing together where we come from and what we carry forward.

Its meaning was understood over time as the spirit of the House aligned with its linguistic and emotional foundation:

Zem — the ground; what is built, held, and made to endure.

Ria — movement; the point where strength meets grace.

Together, they reflect the balance that defines the House of Zemria.

FOUNDATIONS

The House spirit—the discipline and care behind it—was shaped by family, guided by faith, and carried forward through time. What began as a personal standard became a way of seeing: valuing meaning over trend, permanence over excess, and intention over impulse. It is a way of working built through decades of hands-on experience, refined across industries, and grounded in an understanding of what truly endures.

In this House, excellence is not a goal; it is the standard. These principles were established long before they were ever written, and today, that philosophy lives within Zemria as a disciplined approach to curation. Every piece is selected for its craftsmanship, character, and lasting significance—offered with intention and handled with care.

GRIT OF THE LAND

Before there was a House, there was the land. Our story begins in the dirt—on ground that demanded resilience to survive. We come from a lineage shaped by the hardships of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl, where the land was worked when others walked away.

Fields were lost and planted again. What was built was never given—it was earned. The horse—a symbol of strength and partnership—reflects that same truth: endurance forged through labor and the quiet resolve to carry forward what endures.

This is the heritage that anchors Zemria.

My parents, Marian Schulz & Delmar Maier—in Latin Marian is Stella Maris (the Star of the Sea), the ancient navigator’s North Star, while Delmar is quite literally “Of the Sea.” This House exists to honor their love and the values they set in motion.

CONTINUITY

Zemria is built in loving memory of my daughter, Shelbie.

Her presence remains part of this House—both in purpose and in sentiment. What is built here is meant to carry forward that same sense of care, intention, and meaning. It is a commitment to excellence that honors those who came before and those who will follow.

A BLOODLINE OF SERVICE

The House of ZEMRIA stands in quiet honor of a direct three-generation legacy of military service. This tradition of duty began with my father, Delmar, who served with dedication in the United States Air Force. It was carried forward by my brother, Alan, who retired as a Chief in the Nebraska Air National Guard. Today, that torch is carried by my son, Jacob, who entered the Air Force at age 17 directly after high school. Now serving as an E4, his path reflects the same steadfast devotion to duty that defines this House.

For us, service is a standard of honor refined over decades — principles that shape how we build and what we stand behind.

WHAT REMAINS

ZEMRIA is built on what endures:

Work done properly

Standards upheld without compromise

And the belief that what is chosen—and kept—should matter
